Self Employed Delivery Opportunities available in and around Glasgow

What we’re offering:

1. Average pay around £100 per day
2. Drivers will normally deliver around 160 small or around 50 bulkier parcels a day
3. We engage all drivers on a self employed basis
4. You are paid for the service you provide at an agreed rate; your parcel delivery performance will influence what you earn
5. You will be given full on-the-job training for 2 days; however, ongoing support is available until you feel confident.
6. If you need access to a van to complete your deliveries, we can hire you a van for a highly competitive rate of under £50 per week!
7. Our van hire includes insurance and breakdown cover; you can take the van home with you each day.
8. Delivery services are required 6 days each week Monday-Saturday - we operate a Sunday service where we pay enhanced rates for available drivers.
9. Drivers are given a designated route within specific postcode areas, providing stability and flexibility to plan your own delivery route.

STOP PRESS: We also have new Cover Driver opportunities. These are ideal for experienced delivery drivers that enjoy the variety and challenge of delivering in different locations around Glasgow - we have an attractive day rate of £120 per day available for Cover Drivers.

All our routes are reviewed to ensure they have the right blend of mileage and parcel volume to ensure all drivers can earn a good living wage from their delivery driving.

Your life as a b-spokes Delivery Driver

Your day is what you make it - approaching it with a positive attitude and drive will deliver you great results.

You will be based from our depot in the Piper Road Industrial Area, Airdrie ML6.

On arrival at the depot, you will scan your parcels and load your van. You’ll use your own phone to plan your route and set customer ETA's via our parcel delivery app.

Once you’re on the road, you will deliver and collect parcels, taking delivery photos and verifying your location via the app to ensure safe and secure delivery of the customers’ parcels.

Essential:

1. Full UK driving Licence held for at least 4 years
2. Maximum points (6)
3. Our insurance does not permit the following convictions: DD, DR, CD or IN
4. All applicants should be over twenty-one. This is for insurance. If you do not meet this criteria you will need to provide your own delivery vehicle and insurance.
