Role and Skill Overview:
We are working with a mid-sized, independent and employee-owned research agency that specializes in insight and strategy. They work across public, third, and corporate sectors, conducting research within social impact research. Sectors include Health, Transport, Environment (Net Zero and Climate), Housing Welfare, and Education plus more. This role will have a focus on their public sector clients. They are known for delivering consultative research which has aided their growth and success.
Some recent projects have included looking at the cost of living crisis, sustainable living, policy solutions for climate change, and public attitudes towards the NHS. Due to project growth, they are looking for a mixed method or qualitative researcher with experience in deliberative engagement research.
This role will have a core focus on designing and managing small to large scale engagement projects. You will need experience running face-to-face workshops, events, and participatory research. There will also be an element of working on their other research projects, so experience in the full suite of qualitative techniques is desired (moderating online and offline, focus groups, in-depths).
These are hands-on primary research roles where you will be involved in fieldwork, report writing, running projects, and client management. Relevant research experience is necessary. This is a fieldwork-heavy role, and UK travel is expected.
