Are you an experienced operational professional ready to take on a key role in optimizing and expanding our delegated authority and portfolio book of business? The EMEA Operations team at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions is looking for a Delegated Authority Operations Manager to enhance efficiency and drive the growth of our Managing General Agent (MGA) and Facility business.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in managing MGA and other portfolio business, service delivery, and risk management. This role will support scalable business growth, improve operational efficiency, and foster strong relationships with external partners and internal key stakeholders.

About the Role
As Delegated Authority Operations Manager, your responsibilities will be focused around spearheading due diligence and onboarding new MGA and portfolio deals while ensuring the smooth and efficient integration and oversight of existing deals in our European portfolio, ensuring alignment with company framework and regulatory standards, and leading Operations deal teams cross-functionally.

In addition, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying challenges within our book of European MGA and Facility programs, develop innovative solutions that balance client needs with internal requirements, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leading annual audits at client offices, working closely with underwriting, claims, and other departments, ensuring comprehensive compliance and operational oversight.
  • Collaborate with senior MGA management, to align compliance and internal profitability goals with the needs and expectations of our external partners.
  • Drive simplification and efficiencies in the operational handling of our MGA and Facility programs in Corporate Solutions.

Occasional travel within the UK and Europe might be required for the role.

In CorSo Operations we are passionate about service delivery to our customers and partners and creating real impact. We are proud to be the talent pipeline for CorSo and Swiss Re Group and enjoy collaboration across functions.
Within this team, we are adding a new role to support our growing MGA & portfolio business. You will be working closely with another colleague based in Folkestone UK and with other Operations Functions such as Business Services, Credit Control and Claims Operations in Bratislava and other EMEA locations.

About You
We are looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proven experience in operational handling of delegated authority business and good knowledge of the UK and EMEA insurance market
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on service delivery
  • A track record working in cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvement
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
