Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the front line as well as thinking strategically and is a strong leader. The Delegate Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting personal sales targets while supporting the sales team to achieve theirs. You will assist in managing and mentoring junior team members, ensuring that conferences and events meet sales targets. The role involves collaborating with the Sales Director to drive team performance and support delegates throughout the sales process.
This position is ideal for someone already at a manager level or looking to take the next step in their career.
Delegate Sales Manager Key Responsibilities:
Achieve personal sales targets and lead by example
Work with the team to ensure events and conferences meet sales targets
Attend event briefings, understanding the event proposition and matching it to delegates’ needs
Use screen-sharing and other tools to close sales effectively
Provide guidance and support to delegate sales executives, especially junior staff
Help identify training needs and contribute to team development
Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts using Salesforce
Competencies & Skills:
Strong sales approach, with the ability to match delegate needs and upsell where appropriate
Resourceful and self-starting, able to find leads and overcome challenges
Team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
