Deckhand

Burgess recruitment is URGENTLY seeking a Deckhand for a 40m+ yacht

You will be responsible for maintaining the exterior of the yacht to the highest standards, assisting with docking and undocking procedures, tender operations, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the vessel. You will work closely with a professional and dynamic crew, where teamwork and communication are key.

Requirements & Responsibilities

1. 6-12 months experience on a yacht
2. STCW and ENG1 & Deck Rating
3. Exterior maintenance, including cleaning, polishing, and detailing
4. Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and watch duties
5. Supporting the team in all aspects of daily yacht operations

Start date: 20 February Latest

Location: Italy

Salary: EUR 3000 DOE

Leave: 42 days p.a.

Private vessel - Currently in the Med – Single season-based in Italy
