Job Description:

We're looking for a highly organised and detail focused Dealing Administrator to join our Dealing Team within the Operations Department at AJ Bell. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting our trading activity, ensuring efficient and accurate execution and administration across a range of investment products.

As a key part of the Dealing Team, you’ll be helping maintain the integrity of our trading operations, supporting our dealers, and ensuring a first class experience for our customers.

What does the job involve?

  • Producing and reviewing daily Best Execution and Timely Execution reports
  • Managing Placings/IPOs/Accelerated Book Builds (ABBs) – from order review to contracting onto customer accounts
  • Providing administrative support to our Equity and Collectives Dealers
  • Resolving trade related queries from customer facing teams with clear, accurate information
  • Supporting Quality Assurance by providing documentation and explanations where required
  • Identifying and implementing trade amendments to ensure record accuracy
  • Assisting with project testing, process documentation, and system upgrades
  • Liaising with internal teams to resolve more complex customer issues

What we’re looking for:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word (advanced Excel skills are a plus)
  • Clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proactive problem solver with a collaborative mindset
  • Previous experience in a financial services administration role is desirable
