JOB PURPOSE

Join the European & Benelux Digital Commerce team in Nutrition and collaborate to grow the business! The Digital Commerce team aims to secure Unilever Nutrition's success in Digital Commerce within our top six EU markets. It is an integral part of the EU & Benelux Nutrition CSP team, which focuses on developing customer growth plans for our leading customers across Europe and Benelux. Digital Commerce is the fastest expanding channel in Nutrition Europe and holds a crucial role in the strategic agenda of this business unit.

The Nutrition DMC's dCommerce team serves as a bridge between CSP (Customer Strategy & Planning), Marketing, and Digital & Media. This team formulates the dCommerce strategy and ensures flawless execution through portfolio and content development (in coordination with Marketing) and planning retail media activities (in collaboration with Shopper and Retail Media teams).

This position demands expertise and a drive to excel in dCommerce. It will oversee the dCommerce analytics agenda for Nutrition Europe, providing a comprehensive view of dCommerce performance and continuously improving the path-to-purchase process. Tasks include offering insights on item-level profitability, market basket analysis, sales velocity, assessment of promotional and merchandising efforts, ROAS analysis, share of search, dNRM, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the dCommerce analytics agenda, including key multi-market projects for Nutrition Europe.
  • Gather, clean, and analyze extensive customer and consumer data to understand shopping behavior, assess sales performance, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Utilize multiple data sources (category, shopper behavior, baskets) to create reliable, actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance shopper discovery, selection, and conversion, identifying points of friction for optimization.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, business reports, and dashboards to inform key business decisions and monitor KPI achievement.
  • Establish an end-to-end perspective of dCommerce performance and take actions to optimize returns.
  • Promote organizational upskilling by encouraging best practices and fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.

ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Possesses strong project management skills, capable of leading cross-functional projects with a proven track record of delivering results quickly.
  • Skilled in collecting, cleaning, and analysing extensive customer and consumer data to generate actionable insights and support business decisions.
  • Strong verbal/written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills throughout the business.
  • Experience in using data and analytics to enhance the customer and consumer experience.
  • Familiarity with the dComm landscape, channels, and emerging business models such as rapid delivery.
  • Preferably has experience in category management, CCD and/or CBD
  • Fluent in English
