Job Description:

Job Title: Contract Analytics Engineer (DBT & Snowflake Specialist)
Location: Hybrid (at least 1 day per week in London)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Rate: Up to £575 per day (Outside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer with deep expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) Core and Snowflake to join a fast-moving data team on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project, leveraging your skills in data modelling, data analysis, and Snowflake to drive actionable insights for a dynamic organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimise DBT models to transform raw data into valuable analytics-ready datasets.
  • Utilise your in-depth knowledge of DBT Core to upskill, train and mentor the team.
  • Implement scalable data modelling solutions to support business intelligence and analytical needs.
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data workflows.
  • Work with Snowflake to manage and optimise cloud-based data warehouse solutions.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and performance tuning.
  • Provide documentation and best practices to support ongoing data initiatives.
  • Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer with a strong focus on DBT Core.
  • Expertise in data modelling, SQL, and transforming raw data into meaningful insights.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with complex datasets.
  • Knowledge of best practices in data engineering, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results in a contracting environment.
