Robert Walters are delighted to be partnering with a fast scaling Healthcare company. The DBA Developer plays a key role in planning, developing, and maintaining the SQL server databases to optimise the efficiency of their reporting functions. As a member of a small team with access to comprehensive data sources, you’ll have the opportunity to create and enhance processes to support the dynamic changes.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2016+ and DBA functions.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for task automation.
• Create and maintain SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SSRS reports.
• Define and manage database schema, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Test database processes and troubleshoot issues, applying bug fixes where necessary.
• Write complex SQL queries that span multiple data sources.
• Handle error management, transaction control, and query optimization.
• Assist with data migration, optimization, and cleansing.
• Ensure data compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
• Complete tasks aligned with departmental KPIs and business objectives.
• Provide support for out-of-hours releases as needed.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with the Microsoft tech stack, including SSIS and SSMS.
• A strong passion for database development and a keen interest in exploring new technologies.
• Enthusiastic about the power of data and its potential impact.
• Eager to take ownership of tasks and projects, seeing them through from requirements to delivery.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
