Robert Walters are delighted to be partnering with a fast scaling Healthcare company. The DBA Developer plays a key role in planning, developing, and maintaining the SQL server databases to optimise the efficiency of their reporting functions. As a member of a small team with access to comprehensive data sources, you’ll have the opportunity to create and enhance processes to support the dynamic changes.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2016+ and DBA functions.
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages for task automation.
- Create and maintain SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SSRS reports.
- Define and manage database schema, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Test database processes and troubleshoot issues, applying bug fixes where necessary.
- Write complex SQL queries that span multiple data sources.
- Handle error management, transaction control, and query optimization.
- Assist with data migration, optimization, and cleansing.
- Ensure data compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
- Complete tasks aligned with departmental KPIs and business objectives.
- Provide support for out-of-hours releases as needed.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with the Microsoft tech stack, including SSIS and SSMS.
- A strong passion for database development and a keen interest in exploring new technologies.
- Enthusiastic about the power of data and its potential impact.
- Eager to take ownership of tasks and projects, seeing them through from requirements to delivery.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
