The Advent School, located in the Beacon Hill section of Boston, Massachusetts, educates 160 students in pre-Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. A mission-focused school founded in the principles of social justice, Advent has served the students and families of Boston since 1961. The Database Manager supports the school in leveraging, integrating, and optimizing a suite of administrative technologies, including Blackbaud’s K-12 Education and Raiser’s Edge NXT. A member of the Head of School Office team, they manage all of the school’s databases. This includes supporting the Business Office with Blackbaud Tuition Management and the Advancement Office with gift processing, prospect and alumni research, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date donor records.
The Database Manager is a salaried position for the 2025-26 academic year that includes medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, professional development opportunities, and vacation benefits. Work hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; some nights and weekends may be required. Salary range is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
