Database Engineer - London

Database Engineer (DBA/SQL)
Salary: Up to £75,000 plus generous benefits
Location: Central London - 3 days office, 2 days home

We're looking for an experienced Database Engineer (DBA) to join an industry leading organisation that is going through a period of growth due to continued success! You'd be part of a small but dedicated team that has access to and supports a large, complex amount of data from various sources around the globe.

This will be a SQL and SQL Server focused role, both on premise and Azure focused, and you'll be responsible for BAU, projects, and resolutions within this space.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To work as part of a team to administer both on-premise and azure-based servers, as well as working on further migration projects.
2. To help manage the data warehouse environment, predominantly with SSIS and SQL, establishing robust, high-availability database systems.
3. Continuing to develop and maintain the SQL Server systems and processes to ensure stability and optimisation, collaborating with stakeholders to design and develop solutions that align with the organisation's requirements and strategies.
4. Assist in migrations, projects, and optimisation of the environment.
5. Strong troubleshooting abilities with a proactive mindset, monitoring the environment to identify and address performance issues and vulnerabilities.
