On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a Database Administrator for a 6 months contract based Hybrid in Manchester or Birmingham.

As a Database Administrator, your main responsibilities will be:

Essential:
* Data Management:
* Collect, validate, and input data into our databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Monitor and maintain data integrity, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
* Regularly update and manage data records, ensuring they are current and accessible for stakeholders.
* Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Generate routine and ad-hoc reports from data systems to support decision-making.
* Assist in the analysis of data trends, patterns, and insights to inform business strategies.
* Present findings in clear, concise formats for use by various teams within Network Rail.
* Collaboration and Support:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and support their data needs.
* Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement data improvements and system enhancements.
* Provide data support and training to team members as needed.
* Documentation and Compliance:
* Maintain thorough documentation of data processes, procedures, and guidelines.
* Ensure all data management activities comply with relevant data protection regulations and internal policies.
