Database Administrator

• Job Type: Part time up to 25 hours per week over 5 days
• Location: Bournemouth
• Salary: GBP28,700 - GBP32,000 (depending on experience within fundraising, supporter relations, and alumni engagement)

I am seeking a Database Support Officer with a strong background in Access CRM database management, ideally within fundraising, supporter relations, and alumni engagement. The role involves maintaining data integrity, managing data requirements, and ensuring compliance with UK data protection legislation.

• Serve as the departmental lead for database management, ensuring the CRM platform meets departmental needs and data is managed in accordance with Privacy Notices.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external support to resolve data issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot data issues for users and respond to ad-hoc data requests.
• Manage the import of new graduate data into the CRM and assist with statutory communications and data returns.

• Substantial experience using Access CRM database, particularly for fundraising, supporter relations, and alumni engagement.
• Proficiency in manipulating data within a CRM and running reports from large volumes of data.
• Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of MS Office programs.
• Good working knowledge of UK data protection/privacy legislation.
• Experience in the Higher Education sector is beneficial but not mandatory.
