At Holland & Barrett, we're on a mission to transform our data capabilities-and we need a talented Data Warehouse Engineer to help us do it.

Join our passionate Data Warehousing team and play a key role in building and scaling our data environment. You'll work across a modern tech stack (think AWS Redshift, Matillion, Python, and more), integrating raw data from sales, supply chain, and clickstreams into a world-class data warehouse that powers everything from BI reporting to marketing automation and customer personalisation.

You'll be at the heart of our Data & Analytics organisation, collaborating closely with teams in Data Engineering, BI, Data Science, and Product Analytics. This is a high-impact role where you'll own critical ELT workflows, craft scalable data models, and help define the future of data at H&B.

What you'll be doing:

1. Integrating raw data sources across the business
2. Building and scaling our Redshift-based data warehouse
3. Designing and maintaining robust ELT pipelines using Matillion
4. Developing data models and cubes for BI and analytics
5. Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data solutions

Key requirements:

1. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in data warehousing, ideally in e-commerce
2. Expert-level SQL and strong data modelling skills
3. Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift preferred)
4. Proficiency in Python and general tech-savviness (e.g. Git, Docker, NoSQL, APIs)
5. A proactive, self-motivated mindset with great communication skills

Nice to have:

1. Exposure to serverless stacks (Lambda, Kinesis, etc.)
2. BI and data visualisation experience
