Job description

The City of Doncaster Council is a confident, ambitious organisation which puts improving the life of its residents at the centre of everything we do. You have an opportunity to be part of this in the role of Data Support Officer.


An opportunity has arisen to work within our busy Technical Support & Innovation team on a 1 year temporary contract whereby you would be providing support in the delivery of data improvement workstreams to support the council's digital planning agenda, working towards agreed data standards and information requirements as detailed through our participation in the Open Digital Planning project.


The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent computer skills to support the data entry and data cleansing work required as part of this temporary employment. Accuracy and attention to detail is absolutely paramount with extensive database system update experience.


We are looking for a hardworking and conscientious person who works well within a busy performance-driven environment, who is well-organised and able to prioritise and manage their workload, as well as possessing excellent communication skills.


If you are a team player and would like to have a part in supporting the transformation of Doncaster, this role could be for you. Training and support will be provided from a very knowledgeable and supportive team.
