Data Scientist - Up to £150k - Python, SQL, Azure, Databricks

Pays £50k-£150k

5-days a week in Newcastle

2.1 minimum from a Russell Group University

A key client of OB, who are a pioneering venture providing the financial and investment markets with technology consulting services, is looking to hire experienced Data Scientists to their best-in-class engineering team.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Very strong academic background (2.1 minimum from a Russell Group University) in Computer Science or related field and 3 A's at A-Level or equivalent qualifications
• Commercial experience working in Data Science or a related field
• Strong proficiency with Python and SQL
• Knowledge of Azure and Databricks
• Experience working in Financial Services (not essential but a big bonus)

This role is based in Newcastle City Centre with candidates required to be in the office 5-days a week. The successful candidate can expect a salary of £50k-£150k depending on skills and experience. To be considered, you must be UK-based as sponsorship is sadly unavailable.
