Data Scientist Lead

We are currently recruiting a Data Scientist Lead to join our AI&A (artificial intelligence & Analytics) practice. AI&A is dedicated to helping businesses become more data-centric by building accessible, trustworthy, and future-ready data foundations and transform decision making powered by AI to drive growth & success.

The role is based in London and you will be expected to travel onsite 2 to 3 times a week.

Some of your key responsibilities will be to:

1. Act as an expert who provides support and guidance to teams and be a recognised authority on a number of data science specialisms within government, with knowledge of cutting edge techniques.
2. Engage with senior stakeholders and champion the value of data science.
3. Have some line management/mentoring responsibilities.

The experience you will need to demonstrate:

From a technical perspective:

1. Experience in developing and implementing AI / ML based solutions across different sectors including Government.
2. Experience in extracting data and constructing pipelines in different formats from diverse sources.
3. In depth experience in AI / ML statistical programming languages such as Python, R, SAS.
4. Knowledge and experience of ML Ops.
5. Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications of developing and implementing AI/ ML solutions with at least 1 Hyperscaler.
