Data Protection Manager

Senior/Deputy Data Privacy Manager - Major Media & Entertainment Organisation, London.

An exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Data Privacy professional to join one of the leading Media and Entertainment organisations in the world.

The role will deputise for the global DPO (also London-based) and lead on a number of both BAU and non—BAU project based assignments across the globe. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be dealing with the day-to-day running, and continual improvement of all Data Privacy Compliance matters, as well as working closely with senior stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance and other Data Privacy professionals across the globe.

This position will suit an experienced Data Privacy professional that enjoys both leading complex privacy-related projects, whilst being hands-on, both from an advisory and technical perspective, but also someone that enjoys a diverse work portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

1. 6+ years experience of working in a Data Privacy focussed role, either within an in-house, privacy regulator or law firm environment.
2. Demonstrable experience of leading and delivering Data Privacy initiatives across complex, multi-jurisdictional organisations.
3. A professional Privacy certification from a recognisable institution would be ideal, but not essential.
4. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and influence change, globally.
