The role


As a Senior Manager, you'll join our leadership team to help drive our growth, taking the lead on certain sectors / activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Leading the delivery of support to a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Director and above
  2. Leading the management and delivery of large, often cross-border projects
  3. Leading the financial management of clients
  4. Developing strategies to solve complex challenges and helping other team members develop these skills

Essential Skills and Experience


  1. England & Wales qualified lawyer with 7+ years PQE experience advising across a range of global clients in data protection with experience gained in a recognised data protection practice (either Top Tier law firm or Big 4).
  2. Designing and implementing data privacy compliance framework, particularly on a cross-border basis
  3. ePrivacy / Digital Marketing
  4. Subject rights requests
  5. International data transfers
  6. Regulatory audit of security systems
  7. Compliance review and business transformation
  8. Personal data security breaches and subsequent remediation
  9. Developing and implementing managed legal services, relating to areas such as DSARs, Transfer Impact Assessments, DPIAs, Breach notification etc.
  10. Advising on risk assessing and compliance relating to emerging technologies, including AI and Cloud
  11. Business development and experience in profile raising and winning work.

Required skills include:

  1. People and project management experience
  2. Excellent stakeholder management skills
  3. Large global project experience
  4. Experience in drafting and reviewing documents and reports for board level audiences
  5. Experience in providing data protection advice and guidance in relation to some or all of the following:
  6. An aptitude and interest in technology
  7. A high level of computer literacy, including a good working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and legal databases
  8. Be well organised and able to deal with large amounts of information and have excellent attention to detail
  9. A self-starter who can work independently and drive forward propositions and client projects.
