Data Protection Lawyer (4 years'+) – Edinburgh

Are you passionate about data protection, privacy and regulatory compliance?

The Role:

  • Advise on UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR
  • Support corporate transactions (e.g. M&A and outsourcing)
  • Draft and negotiate data processing agreements and privacy policies
  • Guide clients on data transfers and governance frameworks
  • Deliver training and insights on data protection issues

About You:

  • 4 years'+ PQE (Scots or E&W qualified) with data protection experience
  • Strong skills in advisory and transactional privacy matters
  • Clear and confident communication and drafting skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bonus: experience in cybersecurity, AI or emerging tech
