I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a Data Privacy & Security Manager to join their team.

Job Description

As Data Privacy & Security Manager, your main responsibilities are:

• Act as an SME, within the Data Advisory team, within Product Engineering.
• Review & risk assess complex Product Engineering projects that handle personal data, in line with the EU and UK Data Protection Legislation.
• Advise Engineering colleagues on Privacy requirements.
• Identify & articulate high-risk processing complex data flows, the role of third parties handling data, international data transfers, industry-specific guidelines, data minimisation techniques & data subject rights adherence.

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Proven experience working as a dedicated Privacy professional.
• Previous experience advising on technical/technology-based processes.
• The ability to communicate complex legal arguments to Engineering colleagues.
• CIPP/E qualification, Law degree, Engineering/IT degree or Qualified lawyer.
• Telecommunications industry experience (beneficial).
