We are currently recruiting for a Data Platform Support Lead to join our established and experienced Chief Information Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
As the Data Platform Support Lead you will manage a team of Production support engineers assigned to data platform. You will monitor and manage the health and performance of Azure Data Factory pipelines, Databricks workflows, and SQL databases to ensure seamless data processing.
You will troubleshoot and resolve production incidents in Azure-based data pipelines, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures. You will oversee and optimize the performance of Databricks notebooks and clusters to support efficient data transformations and analytics.
You will ensure the reliability and scalability of data integration workflows by leveraging Azure-native monitoring tools and alerts. You will collaborate with development teams to deploy and support new Azure Data Factory pipelines, SQL scripts, and Databricks jobs into production.
To be successful in this role you will have Azure Data Factory and Databricks Experience and be skilled in building, managing, and optimizing pipelines, workflows, and clusters. You will have SQL experience, with advanced skills in writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing queries for performance.
You will have experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and issue detection. You will have good problem-solving skills for root cause analysis and implementing preventive solutions. You will have knowledge of compliance standards, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure Azure networking.
