This large infrastructure services company is embarking upon a challenging implementation stage of a project to replace the financial system for their entire business. The system will form the backbone of all of the accounting, finance, reporting, and management tools for the Global Group. It represents the largest internal project undertaken by the company and comes at a time of continued global expansion.

The transition from the existing system to the new will involve establishing key management principles, in addition to managing the cleansing and migration of data into the new system. The data manager role is offered on a contract basis of 12 – 18 months (to suit the candidate), with the opportunity to extend/move to other projects.
The Data Manager has the ultimate responsibility for the master data objects in the system. They define requirements along with the process owners in line with the overall project strategy and business strategy. The role will functionally report into the finance team but will also have a reporting line to the Project Manager.
