Data Lead (Governance)

Job Title: Data Governance and Strategic Data Lead
Location: Remote (some travel required)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Role Overview

You'll lead the development and implementation of a Data Governance strategy across the business, ensuring data management is aligned with legal and growth objectives. You'll also help foster a data-centric culture, innovate data processes, and manage a team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and govern data governance strategies and policies.
2. Collaborate with IT, leadership, and security teams to implement data practices.
3. Manage data compliance, privacy, and risk assessments.
4. Lead a team and provide guidance on data management best practices.
5. Drive data innovation and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

1. Experience in Data Governance and implementing data management frameworks.
2. Knowledge of tools like GCP, BigQuery, Power BI, and data regulations (GDPR).
3. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
4. Project management experience.
