What You'll Do:
Crafting Compliance Masterpieces: Lead the enhancement of essential governance documentation, including Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs), and Cookie Privacy Assessments, ensuring we meet regulatory standards with confidence.
Data Quality Advocate: Assess and enhance data quality across the organisation. Dive into root cause analyses and implement strategies that elevate our data integrity, ultimately driving business success.
Stakeholder Collaborator: Engage with multiple stakeholders, from Risk and Finance to IT and Marketing. Your ability to quickly grasp technical and commercial concepts will be key in fostering collaboration and ensuring compliance across departments.
Continuous Improvement Champion: Identify and implement best practices in local data governance, driving continuous improvements that maximize the value of our data assets.
Project Navigator: Contribute to complex projects, aligning them with our governance principles while delivering tangible business benefits.
Data Governance Ambassador: Represent our data governance team across various analytical groups and business areas. Provide expert advice on data integrity, privacy, and infrastructure, while making recommendations for system improvements.
Regulatory Vigilante: Stay ahead of GDPR requirements and help develop remedial work programs to address ongoing risks, ensuring our organization remains compliant and informed.
Cultural Architect: Champion data governance awareness throughout the organization, enhancing our data culture and promoting a mindset of responsibility and care.

Qualifications and Experience:
Stakeholder and Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships across diverse teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration in achieving data governance objectives.
Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills that enable you to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Change Management Champion: Strong capability to implement information and business process changes effectively, ensuring buy-in from all levels of the organization.
Data Governance Background: Substantial experience in a data governance or protection role, with a deep understanding of GDPR, PECR, and BCBS239 regulations.
