Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is seeking a Data Exploitation (DE) Engineer to support both new business opportunities and existing fixed and rotary wing platforms.
As a DE Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to support and review fleet data analysis, drive digital data exploitation, and develop core capabilities to identify and implement data-driven enhancements that improve business and programme performance. You will report to the DE Team Lead and BDUK Product Support Engineering Manager, with technical support from other specialists within the department.
In your role, you will:
Fleet Data Analysis: Utilise aircraft fleet data to generate actionable insights that support decision-making and enhance operational performance.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency across all projects.
KPI Establishment and Monitoring: Set, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for DE activities to measure progress and success.
Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in data exploitation processes and methodologies to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain UK SC security clearance.
Data Proficiency: Comfortable working with data and software, with advanced skills in data exploitation modelling and calculations.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI, including dashboard creation.
Data-Driven Environment: Comfortable operating in a data-driven environment, using analytics to inform decision-making.
Effective Communicator: A clear communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
