Data Engineer- Purview

I am working with a University in London who are looking for a Data Engineer on a 3 month contract basis to implement Microsoft Purview.

Lead on the Microsoft Purview Implementation by recommending and leading the deployment of Microsoft Purview to enhance data governance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Purview solutions to enhance data governance, cataloging, and lineage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data management needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Integrate Microsoft Purview with existing data infrastructure and tools to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including data models, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Monitor and optimize data processes for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Location: Onsite 2 days per week in central London

Rate: Approx £500 per day

Duration: 3 month contract

Start date: Within 2 weeks ideally/ end of March
