About the role:

We are currently seeking highly motivated and skilled Data Consultants to join our growing Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics team. As a Data Consultant, you will work closely with senior team members to build BI solutions and design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that will enable our clients to extract value from their data assets. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Alteryx, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Matillion, Power BI and ThoughtSpot while collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Crafting robust Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using cutting-edge tools like Alteryx, DBT, Snowflake, Azure, Tableau, Power BI, and ThoughtSpot.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements, designing innovative solutions, and creating intuitive reports and dashboards. You'll also be validating outcomes and conducting end-user training sessions.
  • Preparing data for advanced predictive and prescriptive modelling, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Remaining agile by continually learning new tools and staying abreast of the latest data manipulation techniques, while pursuing and obtaining relevant certifications.

What you’ll need:

  • Hands on experience with Alteryx and/or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL and one other programming language such as Python or Java.
  • Knowledgeable in both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands on experience working with visualization tools including ThoughtSpot, Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with leading cloud-based data warehouses such as Azure, BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Snowflake.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex data challenges.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
