  • 1 x Permanent - 40 hours per week (full-time)
  • 2 x 12 month Fixed Term Contracts - 40 hours per week (full-time)
  • 4 x 12 Month Contracts - 30 hours per week (part time)

Job Description

We are looking for a number of Data Analysts to join our Team!

As a Data Analyst, you will be work as part of a European Team reporting on our supply chain data and keeping it organized, working with our Finance, Technology and Supply Chain partners to make sure that the right information is held and presented on how well our business is doing.

The role is UK based (Farnborough office) but for the right candidate, could also be based in Barcelona. Your main goal will be to act as Data Analyst to source, load and manage data within a database, working to ensure that at any time we can provide insight into how our business is performing. You will be working with an international set of data from across our hotel, restaurant, outlet and purchasing partners to centralise, manage and organise the information to provide a clear view on financial performance and forecasts. In particular you will be working collaboratively as part of the team to support our European GPO and Managed Services business operating across multiple sectors.

In addition to your core role, your unique position will mean you are pivotal to any global or European transformation initiative; providing data, subject knowledge and problem solving to a wider community of change professionals as Aramark and Avendra International look to capitalise on strategic investment to evolve and enhance the business.

This role will be an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to excel in supporting complex supply chain management in a leading global large-scale industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection: Liaise with data source contacts to gather/extract data
  • Load data where necessary (data can be emailed that require transforming)
  • Validate data and liaise with colleagues for correction and modifications
  • Much time will be spent on data cross-referencing and setup of master data records (for products, brands, locations, and their attributes). This also involves obtaining or researching product information (to find missing attributes such as pack size, manufacturer name)
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring data integrity by solving data inconsistencies, cleansing data as necessary, to maintain high standards for data accuracy
  • Prepare data for reporting: Ensure all master data are setup and categorised correctly, cross-referencing with spend
  • Reporting as necessary using SQL
  • Work can be in multiple languages including English, German, Spanish, Czech, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, with the possibility of other languages

Qualifications:

  • Computer literate: Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
  • Speak additional European languages, Spanish will be real advantage
