Job description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Greenwich to assist with the appointment of a Damp Project Support Officer, on a 5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £17.77 - £22.26 per Hour

Summary:

The Damp Project Support Officer will provide administrative and operational support to ensure the effective delivery of damp-related projects. This role involves managing data, coordinating project activities, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with council policies and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to key staff to facilitate the smooth running of damp-related projects.
  • Manage departmental email boxes, calendars, and records, responding to inquiries as required.
  • Assist in data collection, contract administration, and performance monitoring.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt resolutions.
  • Support the preparation of reports and documents for securing future budget approvals.
  • Coordinate multi-agency engagements, ensuring effective communication with residents, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • A good standard of secondary education (literacy, numeracy, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:

  • Experience in administrative support, project coordination, or contract management.
  • Ability to handle high workloads and multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience working with residents, councillors, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
