Job description
Dairy Engineer / Mechanical Engineer
Location: Ripponden
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 DOE
I am currently working with a family-run business with ambitious growth plans who are recruiting for a Dairy Engineer. This role will be predominantly field service but will also involve work onsite in Ripponden.
- Experience working within the dairy/milking industry or a keen interest in this area
- Able to fault find and repair on dairy/milking equipment or a keen interest in this area
- Mechanical Engineering experience/qualifications
- Great interpersonal skills
- Must have a driving licence
- Strong working knowledge of dairy farm operations across a variety of farm, electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Travel to customer sites to attend to breakdowns or servicing and planned requirements.
- Attend site to install and repair a full range of dairy production machinery.
- Fault finding and repair across a range of agricultural equipment.
- Support farmer customers by communicating technical benefits of its parlor and milking equipment packages.
