Job description

Dairy Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

Location: Ripponden

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 DOE

I am currently working with a family-run business with ambitious growth plans who are recruiting for a Dairy Engineer. This role will be predominantly field service but will also involve work onsite in Ripponden.

Dairy Engineer Requirements:
  1. Experience working within the dairy/milking industry or a keen interest in this area
  2. Able to fault find and repair on dairy/milking equipment or a keen interest in this area
  3. Mechanical Engineering experience/qualifications
  4. Great interpersonal skills
  5. Must have a driving licence
  6. Strong working knowledge of dairy farm operations across a variety of farm, electrical and mechanical disciplines

Dairy Engineer Duties:
  1. Travel to customer sites to attend to breakdowns or servicing and planned requirements.
  2. Attend site to install and repair a full range of dairy production machinery.
  3. Fault finding and repair across a range of agricultural equipment.
  4. Support farmer customers by communicating technical benefits of its parlor and milking equipment packages.
