h2 Recruit is a specialist Sales Recruitment agency based in London and New York.

A genuine market leader in the legal software space is looking to grow their DACH customer base and is seeking a German native/fluent speaker who can develop new business in the region as well as manage the accounts they win. If you speak German and have sales experience in software, this could be your dream role as it offers a great package and fantastic career prospects.


The Role:
As an account executive, you will be responsible for developing new business by selling a leading range of legal software solutions, including AI-based offerings, to the corporate marketplace in the DACH/German-speaking regions of Europe. This is a full 360 sales role, encompassing everything from prospecting and discovery calls to demos, closing deals, and then managing and growing those accounts through cross-selling and upselling. The product portfolio is strong, featuring a number of market-leading and award-winning products ranging from legal information and legal research to AI-based document review and document creation products.


The Candidate:
You will be a fluent/native German speaker with experience in a sales role in the technology space, whether as an Account Executive, Account Manager, or in Sales Development/Business Development, and can demonstrate a successful track record of winning new business. Any exposure or knowledge of the legal world is a plus but not essential. You will also need to be in close proximity to London, as this role requires being in the London office 2 days a week.


The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience, pension, health benefits, and uncapped OTE of £30,000 on top of the base salary, with an accelerator once you surpass your target. The team has been overachieving their targets for the past 2 years. Additionally, a recognized training program is offered, along with the opportunity to work with a company that is growing and promotes from within, making this a great first step on the career ladder of a very successful business.
