This company has experienced considerable growth in the last year and they are an automotive company whose mission is to develop the world's first zero-emissions double deck hydrogen bus to ensure a better future for the next generation. They are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join their Engineering team and implement the necessary vehicle security plan work products as defined in ISO 21434. The successful candidate will work alongside various design teams to ensure that "secure by design" processes are adopted, leading to the launch of Cyber secure vehicles across our customer base.

Responsibilities:

1. Help the business define the various Cyber Security work products at each stage of the vehicle development lifecycle.
2. Provide guidance and assistance to the engineering teams on the delivery of the vehicle cyber security work products.
3. Drive the development of best practice procedures associated with secure vehicle development.
4. Support the Cyber Security Manager to maintain the CSMS (Cyber Security Management System).
5. Act as a single point of accountability for the delivery of the various Cyber Security work products.
6. Create and maintain formal documents such as the vehicle TARA and the penetration/software update testing requirements.
7. Keep status trackers up to date, showing the status of all responsible projects.
8. Escalate any major vehicle security risks to the Risk Committee Board for review and action.
9. Assist the Homologation team in the preparation of any compliance-related documentation.
10. Support any business cyber security audits.

Experience Required:

1. BEng Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
2. Minimum of 2 years electrical/electronics design experience.
3. Previous experience in a cyber security development role working in accordance with a relevant standard.
4. Knowledge and experience of working to ISO 21434.
5. Experience of developing vehicle TARAs.
6. Experience of preparing penetration and software update test plans.
7. Consideration will be given to candidates who have Cybersecurity experience in a non-automotive environment.
