We are currently expanding our Cyber Security Consulting Team and are looking to recruit a number of Cyber Security Consultant Graduates. You must be a recent Graduate in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering who has the drive, a keen passion for all things IT, and the enthusiasm to play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of cyber security across our external customers and in-house product delivery teams. This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to work on some of the UK's leading edge cyber security projects, that will have a direct impact on protecting the UK now and in the future.

Our 12 month Graduate Programme

Joining the Leonardo Graduate Scheme is the opportunity to be part of the next generation of our business. As a Graduate, you will join us on £33,000 with a welcome bonus and could receive a generous Temporary Accommodation Allowance if you move more than 40 miles away from home for the role.

As a Graduate Cyber Security Consultant, you will:

  • Report to a Senior Cyber Security Consultant, with tasking guided by our Head of Consulting, and develop your skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive and effective cyber security and resilience support to various customer delivery scenarios.
  • Work alongside experienced IT professionals to identify and mitigate potential security risks, analyze security threats, and develop solutions to protect our customers' systems and data.
  • Be fully supported to work towards industry-recognized professional cyber security certifications and qualifications.

What we need from you:
  • A minimum of a 2:2 Bachelors/Integrated Master's degree, or a higher degree, such as an MSc or PhD in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
  • A passion for cyber security and a keen interest in IT.
  • Awareness of different types of cyber threats.
  • Excellent IT skills, including knowledge or awareness of computer networks, operating systems, software, hardware, and security risks associated with various technologies.
  • Great team working skills for collaborating with team members and users.
  • Good organizational skills to manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize your workload.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply an understanding of cyber threats, hazards, risks, controls, measures, and mitigation to protect organizations and individuals.
  • Work on areas such as security design and architecture, security testing, investigations, and response.
  • Work on operations, risk, governance, and compliance.
  • Develop and apply practical knowledge in information security to deliver solutions that fulfill organizational requirements.
  • Gain invaluable experience by learning challenging theory and applying this on-the-job.
  • Develop the knowledge and skills required to defend against attack techniques and sources of threat, risk management, and building a security case.
