Currently, we have a (Permanent) Cyber Security Architecture & Engineering Specialist role available.

This role will see you delivering tools and managing ecosystems, as you uplift Cyber Security Capability for the Org. You will operate from Security Architecture down to Hands-on Cyber Security Engineering & Implementation.

You will own Cyber Security for Applications, AWS Cloud, Infrastructure / Network, and On-Prem IT Security.

You will be the go-to person for anything Cyber Security related.

This role will require the ability to be 100% hands-on if required and to lead other members of the team to be hands-on.

This requires an expert in Application Security, Penetration Testing, AWS Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, Hacking, Network Security Design, Storage, Backup, and Incident Investigation.

You will be responsible for Application / API Security, Penetration Testing, Network Security, Scripting, AWS Cloud Security Implementation, and Cyber Security Architecture / Threat Modelling.

You will require previous experience in a dedicated Cyber Operations OR Cyber Engineering role - Now operating at the Cyber Architecture level.

Qualifications & Experience Required :

1. Australian Citizen (Essential) to gain Security Clearances
2. Security Operations Background
3. AWS Cloud Security Architecture Experience (Essential)
4. Hands-on Cyber Security Engineering skills & Exp (Essential)
5. Application Security Expert (Essential)
6. Hands-on Penetration Testing Experience (Essential)
7. Vulnerability Management Experience (Essential)
8. Cyber Security experience across Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Backups, Incident Investigation
9. Able to write code & scripting Exp (Python or other languages)
10. Ability to Manage Cyber Projects End-to-End
11. Proven Ability to Hack Website or Applications
12. End to End Cyber Architecture Experience with ability to be 100% hands-on (Essential)
13. Exp with Zero Trust Architecture
14. Having Implemented a Security-by-Design
15. Able to deploy Cyber Security Solutions
16. Highly developed Analytical & Problem Solving & Consulting Capability
17. Defence Projects Exp - Desirable
18. Identity Management Experience - Preferred
19. Excellent problem-solving ability and high attention to detail
20. Excellent Prioritization and time management skills
21. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate to non-technical audience and engage with internal / external stakeholders confidently.
