Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cyber security advice and solutions to our clients, helping them to protect their digital assets and ensure the security of their information, systems, and people.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct framework based security assessments and reviews for clients (NIST, ISO, digital and data related regulations, etc).
  2. Support senior colleagues in the development and implementation of effective cyber security strategies and policies.
  3. Collaborate with clients to understand their unique security needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  4. Provide advice on risk management, threat mitigation, and incident preparedness / response.
  5. Scrutinise security telemetry to identify issues and patterns.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies.
  7. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, outlining findings and recommendations.
  8. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients on best practices in cyber security.
  9. Support the day to day management of the practice, including involvement in operations and strategic initiatives.
  10. Develop skills in security tools as required for use in client engagements.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent.
  3. Some experience of working in a professional services environment would be advantageous.
  4. Demonstrable knowledge of security frameworks, standards, regulations and best practices.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
