Join a Growing Team as an IT Security Analyst

Hybrid Working | 2 Days Onsite Weekly | £43,517–£55,517 + Up to 15% Bonus | Flexibility & Ownership

Are you ready to step into a pivotal role where your expertise shapes the future of cyber security? We’re on the lookout for a proactive IT Security Analyst to join a dynamic organisation undergoing rapid growth and digital transformation. With new security technologies recently implemented, this is your chance to take ownership of critical processes, work closely with experienced cyber leaders, and make a meaningful impact on a modern, evolving security landscape.

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in the office and the rest remote. Ad-hoc on-call duties may arise—for example, during system upgrades or in response to live incidents.

What You’ll Be Doing

Security, Compliance & Collaboration

  • Monitor and respond to alerts and incidents using EDR platforms and helpdesk tools
  • Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities across the IT estate
  • Support the integrity of the secure email gateway, investigating malicious emails and phishing attempts
  • Perform account audits and track endpoint compliance to maintain key accreditations (e.g., Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001)
  • Provide technical support for security incidents, escalating where necessary
  • Maintain the IT asset library, keeping hardware records up to date
  • Create and manage clear, user-friendly guides and documentation for internal and external use
  • Work closely with end-users who’ve failed phishing simulations, delivering training and promoting security awareness
What You’ll Bring

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience in a 2nd line IT support or cyber security-focused role
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, or CISMP are desirable
  • Proficiency in endpoint management tools and RMM platforms, with the ability to produce KPI reports
  • Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and scanning tools
  • Hands-on experience with EDR, SIEM, or centralised antivirus systems
  • Familiarity with patch management and compliance frameworks like PCI-DSS, NHS DSPT, Cyber Essentials, or ISO27001
  • Excellent communication skills across Teams, SharePoint, email and stakeholder calls
  • A proactive, research-driven mindset and passion for learning new security technologies
Why Join?

You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that values autonomy, innovation, and personal development. You'll have the chance to take real ownership of cyber practices in an organisation that recognises the critical importance of security as it scales.
