Job Description

Your new company

Your new job working as an Account Manager (Technician) will be with a growing Lloyd's Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office in the City. They have a US and Canadian reach and pride themselves on providing the best Financial Lines, PI, Cyber, E&O, D&O, and Tech service for the market. Due to continued successful growth within their financial lines team, they are looking to recruit an Account Manager (Broker support Technician) to join their team, where you will be handling Cyber and D&O risks.

Your new role

Your new role as an Account Manager will involve handling Financial Lines risks, ideally with a focus on Open Market Cyber, D&O, E&O, and related risks. You will provide technical and account management support to the Placing Brokers in the Financial Lines teams. Your responsibilities will include the creation of open market MRC's and facilities, declarations, off-slips, and endorsements, along with some day-to-day client and market involvement as required. You will also prepare market submissions for new and renewal business, liaise with clients to request information, and prepare Final Terms/Binding documents for clients. Additionally, you will work closely with processing and Accounts teams to monitor premium payments and assist in chasing outstanding funds.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working within the London Market as an Account Manager/Technician or Broker Support Technician handling Financial Lines risk will contribute to your success in securing this role. You should have the ability to prepare London market MRC slips and endorsements. You will be able to work in a hybrid and organized fashion. Some previous experience with the brokasure system would be beneficial but not essential, and a working knowledge of the PPL process would also be advantageous.
