We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Customs Clerk to join our client in Grays, Essex. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations, accurate data entry, and smooth coordination of shipments and inventory. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with HMRC regulations.
2. Perform customs-related data entry using platforms such as Destin8 and ASM Sequoia.
3. Assist in logistics by coordinating shipments and managing inventory levels.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
5. Communicate effectively with various departments and HMRC as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Previous experience as a Customs Clerk in the UK.
2. Strong data entry skills and familiarity with relevant software applications.
3. Customs entries experience is a must.
4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Good communication and negotiation abilities.
6. Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment.
