Salary: £30,000 per year

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

Location: Fully-Remote (UK-based, requiring access to transport to attend quarterly meetings and events)

Reporting to: Head of Marketing & Partnerships

Role Overview

Our client is looking for a motivated and capable Marketing & Customer Support Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will split your time between marketing (40%) and customer support (60%). You’ll contribute to various marketing activities, crafting compelling content, and helping with client onboarding and ongoing support. As part of a small, dynamic team, you’ll play a key role in supporting both marketing initiatives and customer satisfaction, helping achieve business objectives and driving continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Duties

  1. Creating content for marketing materials, including website, blogs, email campaigns, social media posts, and more.
  2. Developing case studies and gathering customer testimonials.
  3. Managing social media profiles (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram).
  4. Crafting and sending monthly newsletters and other communication emails.
  5. Using Canva to design and update visual assets.
  6. Assisting with the organisation of events, webinars, and conference participation.
  7. Researching competitors and keeping track of industry trends.
  8. Maintaining HubSpot CRM data.
  9. Supporting marketing initiatives and projects in collaboration with the wider team.

Customer Support Duties

  1. Helping with client onboarding and maintaining ongoing client relationships.
  2. Preparing agendas for client meetings, recording notes, and tracking actions in HubSpot.
  3. Assisting with weekly reporting and contributing to team discussions.
  4. Overseeing our online helpdesk and managing the team inbox.
  5. Assisting with the management of parent community groups (WhatsApp).
  6. Monitoring user survey responses and coordinating incentives.
  7. Responding to app store reviews and ratings.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  2. 1+ years of experience in marketing, copywriting, customer support, or related fields.
  3. Familiarity with HubSpot or similar software.
  4. Strong copywriting and written communication skills.
  5. Flexible and can-do attitude.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  7. Collaborative, self-starter with a growth mindset.
  8. Takes the initiative and works independently to achieve goals.
  9. Understands and prioritises customer needs, providing exceptional service.
