Job title: Customer Support Apprentice

Role Type: 5-year apprenticeship

Location & Hours: Yeovil, fulltime

As a Customer Support Apprentice at Honeywell, in Yeovil, you will work alongside a qualified and experienced team to learn the Customer Support role whilst undertaking part-time academic studies within Project Management. Customer Support in Honeywell allows you to forge a career within project management or account management in the future, as well as the opportunity to travel globally.

This role is part of our Early Careers Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This apprenticeship is set up for 5 years, starting from Summer 2025.

Honeywell Aerospace products and services are used on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft. We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. Key responsibilities:

  1. Supporting multiple stakeholders with the delivery of repair parts for military aircraft
  2. Liaising between customers across multiple countries and time-zones
  3. Support team organisation and communications plans
  4. Creation and maintenance of project schedules
  5. Use appropriate planning techniques to help identify project resource requirements and manage availability with functional managers
  6. Support the development & maintenance monitoring & control of project deliverables
  7. Efficiently deliver clearly focussed customer & company project financial and schedule performance reporting

Key skills and qualifications:

  1. GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above in Maths and English
  2. Have 3 A levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above
  3. Business level verbal and written English skills
  4. Experience working in a customer environment (this could be from a weekend job, work experience, or voluntary work)
  5. An interest in aerospace and an interest in different cultures (our clients are based all over the globe)
