Job Description

This is a unique role with the excitement of a start-up that has a monopoly in its market. While many believe print is dead, our technology elevates, streamlines, and improves the industry. This revolutionary tech software is already being used by over 500 customers, and we need an Account Manager or Client Services professional to drive value, gain feedback (imperative in R&D phase), and work internally to evolve the tech to ensure it's the best version possible.

As an Account Manager, you'll be actioning warm inbound leads, scheduling and conducting demos to showcase the system. When not engaged in demos, you'll drive value into the customer base by speaking with customers, obtaining feedback, and discussing features they may or may not use or be aware of. You'll ultimately be the face of the business, the first and last point of contact for customers, prospects, and anyone interacting with the business.

You'll need to love this aspect and have the ability to build rapport instantly. Knowledge and experience from the print industry are advantageous, especially if you have worked in a studio and now want to transition into a Client Services role. Your empathy and understanding of your customers' market will add significant value.

You'll be joining a small but well-connected team as the 5th person in the business. The role requires you to be in the office, close to the action and our customers. While there will be some flexibility once you are established, you will primarily work in the office, located in City Centre Manchester, offering a co-working environment with coffee on tap (until 3 PM, then switched to beer) and a decent atmosphere.

As the first person in this role, you will set the bar, work out the processes, and shape the role as you see fit. This is just the beginning of the journey, as we plan to hire a salesperson soon, which will further your development and provide more customers and accounts to nurture.
