The salary for this position is up to £25,000 per annum.


Package and Benefits of a Customer Service Underwriter:

  1. Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum
  2. Location: Bristol
  3. Contract: Permanent
  4. Hours: 35 hours, Monday - Friday, working rotating shifts between 8:00am - 6:00pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am-12.30pm
  5. Hybrid working after training (Typically 9 months) - work from home 80% of the time!

Responsibilities of a Customer Service Underwriter:

  1. Providing exceptional service to customers by dealing with requests about customer policy, insurance renewals, and mid-term adjustments
  2. Interacting via live chat as well as through telephone calls
  3. Considering customers' requirements and developing long-lasting relationships by building rapport
  4. Actively responding to customers and going above and beyond to help them
  5. Working as part of a great team!

Skills and Experience of a Customer Service Underwriter:

  1. Experience in a customer service role
  2. Great communication skills with a friendly and approachable telephone manner
  3. Customer-focused, with strong attention to detail
  4. Self-motivated but a great team player
  5. Ability to make rational and logical decisions in a fast-paced environment
  6. Determination to always achieve high quality, even when challenged and working under pressure
