We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Customer Service Team Leader to join our client's dynamic finance team. If you have a passion for leading, coaching, and providing exceptional customer service, keep reading!


Our client, a leading name in the finance industry, is seeking a skilled Team Leader with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. With their innovative solutions and commitment to excellence, our client is dedicated to providing top-notch service to their customers.


As a Customer Service Team Leader, you will:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the customer service team in accordance with agreed service levels.
  2. Implement and maintain quality controls to ensure the team's work meets or exceeds expectations.
  3. Provide relevant training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  4. Monitor and assess team performance and behavioural competencies on a regular basis.
  5. Develop training and development plans to help team members achieve their objectives.
  6. Handle and resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently.

What we are looking for:

  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Customer Service Team Leader, ideally within a financial services environment.
  2. A Level 3 award in Financial Administration or a willingness to undertake the qualification.
  3. Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Proven experience in planning, monitoring, and controlling work to meet business objectives.
  5. A natural motivator and coach with a passion for developing team members.
  6. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  7. Outstanding interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  8. The ability to identify and assess risks in a customer service environment.
