Job description

Red Sky are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative on a full-time contract at London Oxford Airport. The main purpose of the role is to provide exceptional customer service and operational support to crews and passengers using the London Oxford Airport facilities.


A full UK driving license is essential for this role.

Main responsibilities of the job:

  1. Receive and greet all visitors, passengers and crew upon arrival at the airport terminal
  2. Monitor all computer systems to ensure all customer requests are prioritised and dealt with promptly
  3. Input actual flight data accurately on AFIDS, and liaise with the relevant sections regarding significant changes to the planned flying programme
  4. Meet inbound flights with passengers, assist with luggage, and carry out escort duties as required
  5. Escort emergency vehicles airside following Airport safety guidelines as required
  6. Attend to passengers and crew in the terminal lounges, ensuring refreshments are provided
  7. Prepare departure packs for outgoing crews
  8. Ensure the terminal facilities are presentable at all times, refreshment machines are functioning, and additional supplies are adequately stocked
  9. Book meeting rooms and refreshments if requested
  10. Ensure security are given advance notification of all visitors expected at the terminal
  11. Ensure vehicle permits are provided and recorded into the ANPR where necessary
  12. Perform Check-In duties for scheduled airline flights
  13. Maintain knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulations as directed by DfT, CAA, and UKBA
  14. Prepare all documentation in compliance with DfT, IATA, CAA and airline requirements
  15. Assist with airport emergency procedures as per the Aerodrome Manual
  16. Carry out opening/closing procedures depending on rostered shift pattern
  17. Process and file flight paperwork efficiently and promptly
  18. Arrange and record ancillary services as requested by crews and or passengers
  19. Use Pegasus to generate all invoices or purchase orders
  20. Check and approve supplier invoices, and liaise with customers regarding late payments as necessary
  21. Carry out all PET immigration handling, and any associated paperwork
  22. Provide accurate aircraft charter quotations
  23. Accurately process and file flight plans as required
  24. Maintain airport information for visiting aircraft
  25. Maintain/disseminate all airport weather warnings
  26. Assist/Liaise with the UK Border Force, advising them of all (GAR) overseas movements
  27. Raise and action GARS when required
  28. Process all handling requests - including booking aircraft in and out with Air Traffic Control
  29. Liaise with Ground Handling for information positioning of aircraft on the airfield, refuelling & related services
  30. Arrange and monitor all relevant flights for NASP/Screening
  31. Action any changes to the airport fire category, and notify relevant sections
  32. Raise invoices and process payments for landing fees, fuel and any additional services
  33. File all airport NOTAMs as requested
  34. Monitor aircraft arrival and departure bookings to ensure maximum time is allowed for sufficient ground handling/customer service assistance
  35. Control access to the airfield from the terminal building
  36. Any other tasks as reasonably required by the SMT
