Customer Service and Administration Specialist

This business is a growing travel company that is doing exceptionally well. They sell worldwide tailormade holidays and being part of a wider travel group makes them a particularly exciting team to be part of. They are growing and need more help in their customer service team.

Your main role is to ensure our clients’ customers enjoy a smooth travel experience. You'll handle post-booking questions, assist with changes, and keep plans updated. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service and maintaining our client's high standards.

Customer Service and Administration Specialist – What will I be doing?

  1. You will be spending a lot of time working on flight changes using Travelport/Galileo.
  2. Customer Service: Address post-booking inquiries promptly and effectively, serving as the main contact for customer issues.
  3. Booking Management: Enter bookings accurately and update files as needed.
  4. Change Management: Handle modifications and cancellations efficiently, minimizing inconvenience for customers.
  5. Payment Processing: Securely process customer payments with precision.
  6. Schedule Coordination: Manage and communicate schedule changes, rebooking as necessary.
  7. Ticketing and Documentation: Issue correct and complete travel documents promptly.
  8. GDS Proficiency: Use the Global Distribution System to manage bookings.
  9. Administrative Support: Assist with various tasks to ensure the customer service department runs smoothly.

Customer Service and Administration Specialist – What experience do I need?

  1. It is essential that you have worked in the travel industry using Travelport/Galileo previously – preferably in an operations or admin or sales support capacity. Perhaps you have worked as a Travel Consultant but want a change from sales?
  2. You will have excellent communication skills and will know how to wow a customer.

Customer Service and Administration Specialist – What else do I need to know?

This role is hybrid in Hertfordshire 2 days a week. You will be working Monday to Friday 9 – 5.30pm. The team is friendly, the environment is fast-paced, and the product is exciting.
