Customer Service Advisor & Office Administrator

Location: Reading
Employment Type: Full-time, Office-based
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: £28,000 per annum (DOE)

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor & Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer calls and inquiries professionally.
  • Maintain and update online property advertisements.
  • Follow up with prospective tenants and manage waiting lists.
  • Process data entry, update records, and manage email correspondence.
  • Upload property photos, certificates, and reports.
  • Assist with general office administration, including ordering supplies.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate key dispatch.
  • Notify tenants of upcoming maintenance work.
  • Support senior management with administrative tasks as needed.

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and customer-focused professional with:

  • Strong telephone and communication skills.
  • Confidence in handling customer inquiries and problem resolution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
