Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Quality Engineer to join a leading, highly regulated manufacturer in Bradford. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction by driving quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the APQP process, ensuring customer requirements are met and deliverables are achieved on time.
  2. Manage customer complaints, warranty claims, and customer feedback effectively.
  3. Conduct audits, monitor quality performance, and implement corrective actions.
  4. Identify and mitigate potential quality risks.
  5. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) and customers.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Extensive experience in Quality within the automotive industry.
  2. Proven experience with APQP/PPAP and quality tools (8D, 7-Steps, 5 Whys).
  3. Strong understanding of automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
  4. Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies is a plus.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant quality software.
