Carbon60 is currently looking for a Stores Administrator to join a client of ours based on the AAK International site in Hull. This position is a 12 week temp to perm position.

Pay/Salary: £26,000/annum, £13.33/hour
Working Hours/Shift Pattern: 8.30 - till 5pm Monday - Thursday 45 mins break/day, Friday 8:00- 3pm, 30 min break. 37.5-hours/week.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  1. Adhering to H&S policies and procedures on site
  2. Stock management and ordering
  3. Expediting and maintaining order books - checking upcoming orders, chasing delivery times
  4. Ordering stock based on customer requirements
  5. Raising purchase orders (PO's) on customers' behalf
  6. Maintain accurate records of transactions and stock movements on ERIKS and customer systems
  7. Contacting suppliers - replenishing stock by placing orders to purchase (Tends to be internal via warehouse)
  8. Resolving purchasing and supplier invoice queries
  9. Housekeeping stores and office area maintain 5s principles
  10. Booking goods in/out, issue out to customer and update internal systems
  11. Update stock counts
  12. Completing stock takes at least twice per week
  13. Proactive approach to stock ordering (e.g. checking empty bins, using initiative to pre-empt and action necessary orders)
  14. Liaising with engineers for missing details and non-stocked parts for further information
  15. Desirable to have familiarity with inventory management

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

  1. Attention to detail
  2. Basic competent IT literacy skills - professional email correspondence and use of MS Office for data entry - able to adapt to ERP systems on-site
  3. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with customers/engineers on site
  4. Able to show initiative and be willing and proactive in duties
  5. Excellent time management and organisational skills
  6. Stores/Warehouse experience advantageous but not essential
  7. Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain principles beneficial
