We are seeking a Consumer Insights Analyst to play a key role in our Data and Intelligence Team. This position is responsible for driving the strategic vision and data-driven decision-making at Lyle & Scott. The primary focus will be improving our understanding of the Lyle and Scott customers and championing positive change. The successful candidate will leverage data insights to enhance customer understanding, optimise business processes and identify commercial opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer segmentation using data and tracking monthly KPI targets.
  • Conducting market research and trend analysis.
  • Improving customer experience and journey.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities and presenting findings to the board and senior leadership.
  • Working closely with the marketing, sales, and platforms team to develop business cases for new propositions and promotions.
  • Delivering critical insights and processes from analytics projects.
  • Identifying risks and enhancing control across the business.
  • Maintaining an appropriate level of competence through ongoing training and requesting updates or development as required.
  • Identifying, developing, and creating programs and initiatives in conjunction with the Head of Data & Intelligence, which empowers the business to maximize its potential through using and manipulating insight data.
  • Conveying analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports.
  • Driving the continuous improvement of analytics capabilities within the business.
  • Collaborating with other departments that manage data or have data requirements to support them in achieving their objectives.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • 2 years experience in a Data analysis role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Commercial Acumen and a strong understanding of commercial principles
